Why We Started
Built with affection for island life
This project was born from love for an island that has a way of staying with people. Gran Canaria is not only somewhere to visit. It is somewhere people connect, return, and begin again.
We are a small team of residents and regular visitors who wanted to give the island a better digital home: one that helps people discover events, useful resources, and the kind of local energy that makes the place memorable.
What started as a focused community project kept growing into something broader: more useful, more structured, and more capable of reflecting the island in a richer way.

The Journey
2021
The Seed
The first version existed as a feeling more than a product. There was so much beauty, rhythm, and community on the island, and almost none of it was being gathered with real care.
2022
Going Live
After listening to visitors, speaking with organizers, and learning from life on the island, the first platform launched as a place where plans, people, and experiences could meet. In this first public stage, the project carried the LiveGranCanaria name.
Original Brand Identity
LiveGranCanaria from launch through 2025.
2023
Leveling Up
The project was rebuilt with a cleaner structure, sharper design, faster performance, and a more editorial approach to what deserves attention in Gran Canaria.
2026
EnjoyGranCanaria Launch
The new platform launches as the next step. From this moment on, the project moves from its original LiveGranCanaria name into a new brand identity: EnjoyGranCanaria, or simply EnjoyGC, with a broader home for events, community, services, guides, and practical island inspiration.
